It is a small pilgrim town in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh and about 165 west of Visakhapatnam. It is famous for the temple of Sri Kumara Rama Bheemeswara Swami, one of the Pancharamas as described in Sprint’s Beeswax Purana. The Suryanarayana Swami shrine at Peddapuram, 4 kms away is another spot worth visiting.
