Located about 50 kms from Yanam, it is also called Second Kasi with Padagaya Temple which is one of the oldest temples in India and is the abode of Kukkuteswara Swami. The best period to visit this temple is during January-February when Kukkuteswara Tirtham is celebrated for five days.

Lord Shiva is in the form of Cock shape and is called "Kukkuteswara Swamy" and his consort Parvathi is called "Raja Rajeswari". The Nandi in front of Shiva Linga is also very famous. There is one Durga Temple in the campus of this temple which is also one of the AshtaDasa Pithas of Durga Goddess.

Hallowed as 'swayam bhoolingam' and the place where great sage Vyasa with his followers worshipped Kukkuteswara Swamy, Sri Kunthimadhava Swamy, Peethikamba and Hoonkarini Shakti, the linga here has wings on either side.
